About International Organization for Standardisation (ISO)
International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) is the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards. Their standards offer solutions and best practices for almost all types of technology and business, helping companies and organisations to increase performance while protecting consumers and the planet.
What is ISO 9001:2015?
ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard. It aims to help organisations meet the needs of their customers and other stakeholders more effectively. This is achieved by building a framework to ensure consistent quality in the provision of goods and/or services.
The standard is based on 7 quality management principles, including having a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management, and a drive for continual improvement. The seven quality management principles are:
- Customer focus
- Leadership
- Engagement of people
- Process approach
- Improvement
- Evidence-based decision making
- Relationship management
These principles are not ordered by priority. The relative importance of each principle varies and may change over time.
Datum is accredited with ISO 9001:2015 certification
On 23 March 2021, Datum Advanced Composites Private Limited has been independently assessed by Quality Research Organisation (QRO) and found to be compliant with the requirement of ISO9001:2015. On this day, our Business has been accredited with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management certification for the following activities:
- Engineering Design and Analysis
- Research and Development
- Manufacture, Test and Qualification
- Repair and Refurbishment
of Advanced Composites and/or metal structures for the defence, aerospace, aviation, marine, power generation, rail, oil and gas, renewable energy, mass transportation, automotive, electronics, healthcare and construction industries; and technical training for continuing professional development.
