Datum is delighted to announce today (26 May 2020) that four new executive directors are appointed to its board
The company would like to congratulate Dr Rajiv Kumar Tiwari, Mrs Vina Tiwari, Mrs Priyanka Tiwari and Mr Tanmay Tiwari on their appointment as Datum’s first four board members. The new appointees have diverse backgrounds and are coming together to make India a global leader in Composite Technology and Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing. They will bring an impressive array of expertise in guiding Datum to deliver its strategic objectives and implement its new strategy. Their expertise in aerospace and defence equipment manufacturing, composite processing, materials science and technology, project and programme management, business management and life sciences will propel the company’s growth to new heights.

About Rajiv
Rajiv has 35 years of experience working in the public sector. He has expertise in corporate governance, project and programme management and commercial relations. His scientific research background is in phycology. He has been a recipient of many prestigious awards and fellowships.

Tanmay has worked in the UK and Indian aerospace sectors. His expertise is in business development, management, product design, structural analysis, and composite component manufacturing. Royal Academy of Engineering, UK awarded him for presenting the best innovative sustainable energy management solution during the ‘Engineering a Better World’ competition. He has worked in the field of aeroelastic tailoring of FRP composite wing.

Co-founding Datum Advanced Composites and getting appointed as one of the first four board members of the company is a matter of great pride for me. I am confident that my expertise in design and engineering and composite manufacture will allow me to establish a best-in-class Design and Advanced Manufacturing capabilities at our Kanpur campus. In my running of the company’s daily operations and strategic business developmental activities, I will ensure that our business is in line with its vision and mission. Priyanka has experience working in the UK and Indian Food, Pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. She has expertise in polymer processing, material characterisation, industrial packaging, supply chain management and business development. She has been awarded for developing effective barriers for pharmaceutical products. Her passion is to develop and industrialise polymer composites that are multifunctional and environmentally friendly.

I am thrilled to have co-founded Datum Advanced Composites. I am grateful for being appointed as one of the company's first board members. Since India is making strides in forming global strategic consortiums in aerospace, defence, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure, we must rapidly develop our capacity and capability to address future needs.
