Job Description

As an Avionics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, programming, integration and testing of electrical systems for UAV, aircraft, spacecraft and satellites. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of communication, navigation, and guidance systems, while also providing critical computer system support. You will work at the forefront of aerospace technology, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that redefine industry standards. You will join the Technical job family in our Advanced Manufacturing Facility at 523, Ratanpur, Panki, Kanpur – 208020, Uttar Pradesh, India. The role is Full-time and Permanent.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate shall be responsible for performing the following activities:

  • Design and program advanced electrical and electronics systems that are essential for the operation of unmanned platforms, spacecraft, aircraft, and satellites.
  • Provide technical support for communication, navigation, and guidance systems.
  • Perform thorough testing and verification of avionics to ensure functionality and reliability of the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics components seamlessly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Key Personal Attributes, Experiences and Qualifications

The successful candidate shall demonstrate the following attributes:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in designing and programming avionics systems, with a focus on communication, navigation, and guidance systems.
  • Experience with communication, navigation, and guidance systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Solid understanding of aerospace standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Electronics and Communications field or similar.
  • Previous experience with advanced composite materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on involvement in spacecraft, aircraft, or satellite projects.
  • Familiarity with FPGA programming and signal processing.
  • Knowledge of autonomy and AI integration in avionics systems.
  • Understanding of reliability and safety considerations in aerospace systems.
  • Contributions to relevant research or industry publications.
