We are Datum Advanced Composites Private Limited – a rapidly growing fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite manufacturing business from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Job Description

As a Finance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing various finance and accounting functions, providing crucial insights to support strategic decision-making, and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. You will join the Business Support job family in our Advanced Manufacturing Facility at 523, Ratanpur, Panki, Kanpur – 208020, Uttar Pradesh, India. The role is Full-time and Permanent.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate shall be responsible for performing the following activities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost analysis, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the finance department.

Key Personal Attributes, Experiences and Qualifications

The successful candidate shall demonstrate the following attributes:

Essential

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and financial management software.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Desired

Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
Experience with ERP systems, such as ERPNext, SAP or similar.
Previous involvement in cost analysis and pricing strategies for manufacturing business.
Familiarity with the composites manufacturing industry.
Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to business growth initiatives.
